Authorization for Individual Services (POINT Plus System)
Departmental personnel process Authorization for Individual Services (AIS) electronic Web documents to authorize individuals to perform services, separate from monthly and hourly paid positions at the university. According to IRS guidelines, if services are classified as employee work, then they are subject to withholding taxes. These payments are considered casual employee payments, paid via Payroll Services and processed on *DEFINE OV7 documents.
AutoPay for Retiree Insurance
Automatic Payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from your bank account is a convenient payment option for retiree insurance. Enrollment can be completed online or by submitting a paper Automatic Payment Request Authorization form. To complete your enrollment online, an upgraded UT EID is required to access the AutoPay website. To upgrade your UT EID, go to the ID Center, located on the 1st floor of the Flawn Academic Center (FAC), and bring a government issued photo id as proof of identity. Additionally, to utilize online enrollment, you must use the two-factor authentication software Duo. Click here to enroll your device. Communication Device Allowance (CDA) System
Departmental personnel can set up CDA payments to employees whose job requirements warrant the use of a personal communication device (such as a cell phone) or service. The CDA policy, in the Handbook of Business Procedures 9.1.5. Communication Device Allowance, should be reviewed before completing the CDA Request Form. After approval has been obtained, an equipment allowance and monthly service allowances can be established using the CDA system by authorized individuals.
Electronic Earnings Statement
Employees can view paycheck earnings statements online. Earnings statements are generated for each payday and employees will receive an email notification when earnings statements are available.
Departmental personnel can use the Fringe Download tool to display or download fringe benefit expenditure information by name and UT EID. The information is updated after each month-end accounting closeout.
Nonresident aliens who work at the university are required to complete a GLACIER profile to determine their tax status and eligibility for tax treaty and/or social security tax exemption. New nonresident employees will be provided login instructions via a secure email message.
Hourly Payroll System
New Web-based system for departmental OV1 payroll processors who have View, Update, or Super status for the OV1 command in *DEFINE. Allows departments to programmatically create OV1 vouchers and perform payroll functions for hourly employees who complete electronic Time Reports in the HRS Timekeeping System.
MyTRS is the online access portion of The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) website. After establishing a user ID and password, members can plan for retirement, keep track of their personal accounts and receive communications from TRS. MyTRS is available to eligible members and annuitants who have completed the registration process. For new TRS members, please wait approximately sixty days from your date of employment to register. During this time, the university will provide TRS with the information needed to set up your account.
My Paycheck Profile
Employees can access My Paycheck Profile to create, view and update their personal payroll information including IRS Form W-4, tax withholding information, paycheck distribution, direct deposit bank information and addresses. Please note, to update bank information in My Paycheck Profile, you must use the two factor authentication software Duo. Click here to enroll your device. Employees can enroll or make changes online to their Tax Sheltered Annuity, Roth or Deferred Compensation contributions.
Employees can securely access multiple years of IRS Form W-2 information, which provides a formatted version to print if desired. What I Owe
Allows employees and retirees to make payments online by credit card, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or electronic check (eCheck) for charges owed to the university.

This website displays information about university-issued payments, including amount, check number, check date, funds availability date and date cashed.
